Lane County market data (updated)

Note: Graph data updates immediately and automatically (around the 10th of each month).

Average days on market (DOM) & sale price as a percentage of the original list price (SP/LP).

Shown together, each is significant & interesting, but they’re unrelated to one-another.
Why they are always graphed together this way is anybody’s guess.

Months of Inventory (MOI) is an index which reflects the amount of residential homes currently available in the marketplace. For mysterious reasons, MOI measures this as the number of months it would take to sell every remaining home in the marketplace if, oddly & abruptly, no additional homes be offered for sale. It’s essentially a snapshot of the quantity of homes available at a given moment.

NOTE: Historically, the market has held steady at around 6 months…for decades.
